We also advise on any ancillary documents required for the transaction, such as deeds of variation, licences to assign, or rent deposit deeds.
  • Financing: We have a network of financial specialists and commercial mortgage brokers who will be able to provide you with a range of financing options for the acquisition or disposal. We can also assist in negotiating terms with lenders and reviewing loan documentation.
  • Environmental and Planning Issues: Our specialists will identify any environmental or planning issues that may affect the transaction, such as contamination or zoning restrictions and assist you in obtaining any necessary planning or environmental consents.
  • Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT): Our advice extends to identifying the SDLT implications of the transaction, together with any exemptions or reliefs that may apply and we can assist in completing the SDLT return,
  • Completion and Post-Completion Matters: As part of the service, we will assist in coordinating the completion of the transaction, including exchange of contracts, payment of the purchase price, and transfer of legal title. We will also advise on any post-completion matters, such as registering the transaction at the Land Registry or transferring utility accounts.
